AC Batán's Ni Le Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 14th minute of play. Geovani de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Geovani de Salles came out of the goal and Feliciano Mercurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Quintin came free, but Geovani de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Feliciano Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Ríver Late players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC Batán were winning 0-1.

The throw-in from Dolfo Clemente in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AC Batán's Cristo Serapio. 86 minutes into the game, Acácio Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Geovani de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baran Sarka took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ni Le Zheng. Ni Le Zheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Acácio Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. AC Batán's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
