With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovani de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafal Kaszubowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Geovani de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MARTINETA getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dionisio Navarro hit a great ball. Rafal Kaszubowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, MARTINETA's Carlos Cesaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovani de Salles. Geovani de Salles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Leopoldo Jacinto Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MARTINETA's Bartolo Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ríver Late defense, Carlos Cesaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovani de Salles. The Ríver Late fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovani de Salles should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Skytt made a kick off. When MARTINETA's Carlos Cesaro in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Carlos Cesaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ríver Late made a substitution. Dimas Barrientos replaced 尤城平. Ríver Late's Espiridion Ascot was substituted for Rick Haremeijer. Geovani de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MARTINETA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lv Qiang Xiao in the 69th minute. Lv Qiang Xiao made a great header on MARTINETA's corner, it was just that Ríver Late's Geovani de Salles managed to reach the ball for a save. Geovani de Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lv Qiang Xiao's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Lv Qiang Xiao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lv Qiang Xiao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovani de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Qiang Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. MARTINETA's Bartolo Beliran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save MARTINETA from getting a goal against them. Geovani de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Qiang Xiao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MARTINETA were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Ríver Late's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lv Qiang Xiao took the corner. The audience was convinced that Lv Qiang Xiao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovani de Salles was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Ríver Late's Geovani de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Qiang Xiao in the 96th minute of play. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Ríver Late was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubelteso Lasquibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MARTINETA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ríver Late had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
