Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Gomez in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Vodka Juniors were awarded a corner. Placido Kepa went to the cornerflag to take it. 19 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Gomez came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Mancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luo Wei Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Joga Bonito were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Veronica made a kick off. In the 51st minute Andy Symons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Mancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute of the match, Ludomil Czaplicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Mancio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Alejo Eleazar took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Flavio Mancio to make any attempt to save it. Flavio Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Vodka Juniors's Flavio Mancio got control of the ball when Johnny Ba Loua tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Flavio Mancio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vodka Juniors's Ruben Aztore was substituted for Ricardo Gomez. Flavio Mancio made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Luo Wei Xi sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Mancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga Bonito. When the final whistle sounded Joga Bonito left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vodka Juniors.
