Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Jacinto Luque's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 22nd minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ríver Late's Ubaldo Fillol got control of the ball when Herbert Literski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Leopoldo Jacinto Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luo Wei Xi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Fillol made a huge save. The corner led Joga Bonito's Tolek Turek to fire away a dangerous shot which Ubaldo Fillol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 28 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Turek. 33 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludomil Czaplicki. Ubaldo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Literski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Herbert Literski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Joga Bonito got a corner. Ríver Late's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The wind increased when Leopoldo Jacinto Luque made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Jacinto Luque got free with Artur Boruc in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo-Nicolás Ponzio got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Ríver Late's Enzo-Nicolás Ponzio got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Herbert Literski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Czaplicki in the 80th minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc got control of the ball when Carl Skytt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's Carl Skytt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Boruc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Literski in the 95th minute of play. Ríver Late's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
