When Vladimir Lara came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Vila Nova FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Lara couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Juanfran Gentenaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Postelnicescu came free, but Moisés Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by JFSP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubens Senna was slow to take the kick. During this time Vila Nova FC's players had a chance to rest. Vladimir Lara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moisés Novaes came out and tried to block the shot, but Vladimir Lara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, 曾震渊 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moisés Novaes. JFSP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 曾震渊 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 35 minutes into the game, Bálint Kerekes threw the ball into play from the sideline. JFSP's 郑思奕 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 39 minutes, Rubens Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Nova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Edinson Gentenaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mete Nared had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After having played for 50 minutes, Mete Nared managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Nova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mete Nared was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giuseppe Vale struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fiori Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JFSP. In the 58th minute 曾震渊 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Vladimir Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. JFSP's Jeferson Aguiar was substituted for Kārlis Straubegs. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Nared in the 65th minute of the match. Moisés Novaes came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared. But to his dismay, Mete Nared quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Nan Han in the 72nd minute of the match. 4-0 became the score in the 74th minute when 曾震渊 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Nova FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Giroud in the 79th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flaco López hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Nared in the 86th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota got control of the ball when Paulinho Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. JFSP's Moisés Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Postelnicescu in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曾震渊 in the 96th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
