Geronimo Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yiğit Haşmetli, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the ⲨⲀⲚⲀ defense, Yiğit Haşmetli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Abeijon. The ⲨⲀⲚⲀ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Abeijon should have stopped the shot. Geronimo Abeijon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yiğit Haşmetli's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Indiana University's Yiğit Haşmetli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Abeijon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Yiğit Haşmetli put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Geronimo Abeijon. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enzo Toro to make the kick off. In the 72nd minute, Yiğit Haşmetli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Marco Roldan's late challenge caught a Indiana University's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Roldan helped the player get up and apologised. Marco Roldan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Görkem Baloğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Abeijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Elpidio Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's zone, Hikmet Temirkut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Abeijon came out of the goal and Hikmet Temirkut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Görkem Baloğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Görkem Baloğlu in the 92nd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's goal looked a bit too open when Görkem Baloğlu came free, but Geronimo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
