In the 20th minute, Marco Cantona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Manteca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 32 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Cantona came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Marco Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Manteca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Discípulos de Ayn Rand defense, Marco Cantona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manos Manteca. The Discípulos de Ayn Rand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Manteca should have stopped the shot. The audience held their breath when Muc Abeita in the 48th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Sebastián Sosa's left hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Cantona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Cantona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manos Manteca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Geleberto got free with Sebastián Sosa in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Marco Cantona sped through Discípulos de Ayn Rand's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manos Manteca. Manos Manteca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Cantona went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Discípulos de Ayn Rand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cambranes Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball.
