Rubinho de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Gaizko in the 3rd minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Sarandi Futbol Club's goalkeeper Lorenzo Jurgi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson de Lima. With a little luck, Sarandi Futbol Club's Lorenzo Jurgi got control of the ball when Vivaldo Carmona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Jurgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Zonta in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Gaizko came free, but Rubinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivaldo Carmona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lorenzo Jurgi made a huge save. Tales Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Lorenzo Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Zonta in the 26th minute of play. When Vivaldo Carmona came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Real Cruzeiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivaldo Carmona couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Zonta in the 31st minute of play. Lorenzo Jurgi made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Baltazar Zonta sent off a good shot on target. Miroslaw Cupial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho de Amaral having to interfere. A collision led to Sarandi Futbol Club getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Isidoro Haritzeder hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Aquiles Rio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sarandi Futbol Club's Lorenzo Jurgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Sarandi Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Sarandi Futbol Club's Lorenzo Jurgi got control of the ball when Vivaldo Carmona tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miroslaw Cupial made a kick off. Rubinho de Amaral was a little too slow when Miroslaw Cupial got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. The supporters of Sarandi Futbol Club booed when Real Cruzeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Charalambos Nalitzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Carmona, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a little luck, Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral got control of the ball when Isidoro Haritzeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Haritzeder got free with Rubinho de Amaral in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charalambos Nalitzis charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charalambos Nalitzis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Vivaldo Carmona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Cruzeiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Carmona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Jurgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorenzo Jurgi came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Cruzeiro FC's Vivaldo Carmona. But to his dismay, Vivaldo Carmona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With an all-out effort, Sarandi Futbol Club's Rubinho de Amaral threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Gaizko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the match, Sarandi Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Zonta came free, but Lorenzo Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sarandi Futbol Club's Aquiles Rio got a free kick in the 91st minute. Vivaldo Carmona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Sarandi Futbol Club players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Real Cruzeiro FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
