The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Yu Xi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macit Taşel in the 10th minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Macit Taşel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The H E P T A N FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Yu Xi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gildo Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Herbert Tamulewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Xi in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gildo Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yu Xi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gildo Furtado came out and tried to block the shot, but Yu Xi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Yuri Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes of play, H E P T A N FC's Yu Xi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gildo Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Xi in the 37th minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, H E P T A N FC's Yu Xi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gildo Furtado. Gildo Furtado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After 43 minutes, Macit Taşel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the H E P T A N FC and the America FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, H E P T A N FC's Macit Taşel got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Yu Xi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maicon Arruda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Maicon Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Tamulewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Tamulewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. America FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after H E P T A N FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilmar Maranhense took the corner. America FC's Yuri Lopez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herbert Tamulewicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Yu Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Xi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gildo Furtado saved America FC from getting behind. Gildo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Xi in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, America FC's goal looked a bit too open when Macit Taşel came free, but Gildo Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yu Xi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gildo Furtado having to make a save. America FC's Gildo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Xi in the 90th minute of play. H E P T A N FC's Macit Taşel got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Macit Taşel off the ground. The supporters of America FC booed when H E P T A N FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macit Taşel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The H E P T A N FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
