ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Fernandes in the 18th minute of play. Marcinho Barros's late challenge caught a ALIDIM FOR EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcinho Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ibirama Futebol Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Ibirama Futebol Clube:s Víktor Freire showed great skill when he stopped Fernando Pinto:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Fernandes in the 57th minute of play forced ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalkeeper Herminio Gizon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Gizon was a little too slow when Roger Guerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. But to his dismay, Roger Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Ibirama Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ibirama Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
