After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Lucas Beltrán managed to get in a good position for a shot. COSQUIN SFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Beltrán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademir Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Olivar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anatol Hönes's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Matungo Gaúcho were awarded a corner. Jânio Gaúcho went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Matungo Gaúcho getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Erivaldo Urbano hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Well-Well Chițan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademir Baptista. Matungo Gaúcho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Well-Well Chițan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ciriaco Olivar made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Anatol Hönes sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Chițan came free, but Ademir Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Rumaldo in the 22nd minute of play. Luis Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
