Necip Fazıl Aşık blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dráuzio Pinheiro having to make a save. In the 11th minute, LUZ SS's Jerônimo Guerra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Sidney Machado took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Rüknettin Demirbaş to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute, Sidney Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüknettin Demirbaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 19 minutes into the game, Nusrettin Tuğkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LUZ SS the free kick. The supporters of LUZ SS booed when Kültepe Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nusrettin Tuğkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Guerra in the 21st minute of play forced Kültepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Rüknettin Demirbaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Gilberto Macedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rüknettin Demirbaş, 4-0. LUZ SS's Dráuzio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necip Fazıl Aşık in the 27th minute of play. Gürkan Bahadıroğlu's late challenge caught a LUZ SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürkan Bahadıroğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Gürkan Bahadıroğlu got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Fabiano Reis fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LUZ SS's protests and gave Fabiano Reis a yellow card for diving instead. Fabiano Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necip Fazıl Aşık was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Kültepe Spor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Nusrettin Tuğkan. Jerônimo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüknettin Demirbaş having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Sidney Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LUZ SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Rüknettin Demirbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Macedo in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Teoman Suel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LUZ SS the free kick. A collision led to Kültepe Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Teoman Suel hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kültepe Spor Kulübü's zone, Jerônimo Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüknettin Demirbaş came out of the goal and Jerônimo Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Sidney Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Rüknettin Demirbaş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Kültepe Spor Kulübü's zone, Jerônimo Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüknettin Demirbaş came out of the goal and Jerônimo Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rüknettin Demirbaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Guerra went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. LUZ SS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
