When Válter Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barra EC's protests and gave Válter Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kültepe Spor Kulübü booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Pedro Luiz Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barra EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 17th match minute, Kültepe Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şerif Sabahaddin to maneuver through the defense. When Válter Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Barra EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válter Lopes couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Şerif Sabahaddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Rüknettin Demirbaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Lopes in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ismael Paraense made a precise shot to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 31 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Souto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Rüknettin Demirbaş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Kültepe Spor Kulübü defense, Ismael Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. The Kültepe Spor Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rüknettin Demirbaş should have stopped the shot. Doğa Ustam hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rüknettin Demirbaş came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Barra EC's Pedro Luiz Souto. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Pedro Luiz Souto made the kick off in the second half. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Rüknettin Demirbaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Souto in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Pedro Luiz Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüknettin Demirbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Necip Fazıl Aşık's late challenge caught a Barra EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Necip Fazıl Aşık helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Necip Fazıl Aşık got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd play minute Válter Lopes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rüknettin Demirbaş. 0-9. Hélio Luz made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Olavo Ceresso immediately put the ball in play. 69 minutes into the game, Barra EC's Pedro Luiz Souto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüknettin Demirbaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. After a rather tough play, Kültepe Spor Kulübü's Teoman Suel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Barra EC made a substitution. Dito Vander replaced Olavo Ceresso. In the 73rd match minute, Kültepe Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teoman Suel to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Pedro Luiz Souto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rüknettin Demirbaş, 0-11. After some careless play in the Kültepe Spor Kulübü defense, Ismael Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rüknettin Demirbaş. The Kültepe Spor Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rüknettin Demirbaş should have stopped the shot. Rüknettin Demirbaş made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Válter Lopes sent off a good shot on target. Rüknettin Demirbaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Válter Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüknettin Demirbaş having to interfere. Rüknettin Demirbaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luiz Souto went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score.
