Crucero Gral. Belgrano's Carolo Fonda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose-Antonio Urioste in the 13th minute of play. If Higinio Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Crucero Gral. Belgrano's Isidoro Pasqual got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Zamora Ziarza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Fonda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Jose-Antonio Urioste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Orzaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Xose Valtierra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xose Valtierra having to interfere. In the 36th minute Jairo Orzaize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xose Valtierra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Fonda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jose-Antonio Urioste showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 40 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Mannie in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xose Valtierra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose-Antonio Urioste made a kick off. Carolo Fonda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Bertol in the 96th minute of the match. Nicanor Bertol took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carolo Fonda. Carolo Fonda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Crucero Gral. Belgrano had controlled the match.
