Blas Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xinaro Montemiuño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xose Valtierra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. Xose Valtierra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Tiburcio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xose Valtierra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Xose Valtierra got control of the ball when Tiburcio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute Tiburcio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xose Valtierra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
