RED SHARK FC's Theo Tauhid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brock Friend in the 12th minute of play. Theo Tauhid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brock Friend, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Brock Friend shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Tauhid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Bufi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pasha Dewantara in the 29th minute. RED SHARK FC's Theo Tauhid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Félix in the 31st minute of play. Kader Back lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RED SHARK FC! Oswaldo Maranhense walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Brock Friend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Theo Tauhid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RED SHARK FC's zone, Brock Friend stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Tauhid came out of the goal and Brock Friend tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Gilson Rezende replaced Hélder Lara. Diding Mudaffar hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Duarte Félix in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RED SHARK FC's goalie prevented a goal. 60 minutes into the match, RED SHARK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Félix came free, but Theo Tauhid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to RED SHARK FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Diding Mudaffar hit a great ball. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Daniel Simões was substituted for Enrique de Mendonça. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Rogério Teixeira was substituted for Olavo Quadros. After 64 played minutes RED SHARK FC got a freekick which was hit by Diding Mudaffar. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Brock Friend sped through RED SHARK FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Theo Tauhid. Theo Tauhid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Félix's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 88th minute, Guruh Setiana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brock Friend received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Theo Tauhid came out and tried to block the shot, but Brock Friend slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 91st minute. With his leg Theo Tauhid managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Brock Friend fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
