Babbis Makricosta kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dong Xi Xiong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 18th minute of play forced ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C's goalkeeper Dong Xi Xiong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C's goalkeeper Dong Xi Xiong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ihazintu. In the 35th minute, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 38 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dong Xi Xiong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dong Xi Xiong was a little too slow when Niceto Ihazintu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anestis Vassilikos to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong Xi Xiong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dong Xi Xiong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 53rd minute of the match. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but Dong Xi Xiong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dong Xi Xiong having to interfere. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Niceto Ihazintu sped through ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dong Xi Xiong. Niceto Ihazintu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dong Xi Xiong having to make a save. ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C's Dong Xi Xiong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Niceto Ihazintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dong Xi Xiong was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Niceto Ihazintu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Dong Xi Xiong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caatiba MZC. Rodriguinho Linhares scored 8-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dong Xi Xiong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong Xi Xiong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but Dong Xi Xiong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rodriguinho Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caatiba MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguinho Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dong Xi Xiong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dong Xi Xiong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Ihazintu's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Niceto Ihazintu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dong Xi Xiong was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 94th minute of play forced ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C's goalkeeper Dong Xi Xiong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caatiba MZC fully deserved thier win.
