The referee ignored Stoke FF's protests and gave Ove Fredriksson a yellow card for diving instead. If Marcelinho Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Marcelinho Motta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ergo Muro to make any attempt to save it. In the 34th minute Ralf Hultstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Niceto Ihazintu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Battal Seyyit Şehzade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Caatiba MZC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Martinsson to make the kick off. Ergo Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Martinsson in the 62nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Caatiba MZC's Battal Seyyit Şehzade threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodriguinho Linhares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Battal Seyyit Şehzade was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Niceto Ihazintu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niceto Ihazintu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Stoke FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caatiba MZC the free kick. Stoke FF's Battal Seyyit Şehzade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 81st minute of play. Stoke FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Niceto Ihazintu 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caatiba MZC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
