After a defensive mix-up in Feminista MZC's zone, Niceto Ihazintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catalino Canto came out of the goal and Niceto Ihazintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Niceto Ihazintu made the kick off in the second half. Ergo Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Borges in the 53rd minute of the match. That made the score 1-3 in the 70 minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Cesar Hotz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ergo Muro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Feminista MZC defense, Nuno Mattos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Catalino Canto. The Feminista MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Catalino Canto should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Feminista MZC's goalkeeper Catalino Canto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Mattos. Catalino Canto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Feminista MZC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
