FC Pepe Burrón's Orlando Rivera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pepe Burrón from getting a goal against them. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caatiba MZC's zone, Justino Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergo Muro came out of the goal and Justino Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Pepe Burrón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaby Milito was slow to take the kick. During this time Caatiba MZC's players had a chance to rest. Caatiba MZC's Ezequiel Nunes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Orlando Rivera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Orlando Rivera was a little too slow when Niceto Ihazintu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Justino Gotzon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ergo Muro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Ihazintu got free with Orlando Rivera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orlando Rivera. Orlando Rivera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Ezequiel Nunes made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Niceto Ihazintu. After a rather tough play, FC Pepe Burrón's Elizardo Moyua got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes FC Pepe Burrón got a freekick which was hit by Frank Beckenbauer. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 56th minute of the match Caatiba MZC got a corner. FC Pepe Burrón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaby Milito ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Pepe Burrón's Orlando Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 65th minute of play. Orlando Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 68th minute of play. Orlando Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orlando Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 75th minute of the match. Erez Gordo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Caatiba MZC made a substitution. Nuno Mattos replaced Niceto Ihazintu. FC Pepe Burrón made a substitution. Leonid Afteni replaced Justino Gotzon. After 77 played minutes FC Pepe Burrón got a freekick which was hit by Erez Gordo. Nuno Mattos might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Rivera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Mattos ran back to his position shaking his head. Ergo Muro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiémoué Bakayoko in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonid Afteni got free with Ergo Muro in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Pepe Burrón players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caatiba MZC.
