Cauã Domingues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Porteño Prowess FC's Fiallos Mellado got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stevie Hornsby got free with Alejandro Gavilanes in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ssc Napoli were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Porteño Prowess FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Austin Lomas took the corner. 47 minutes into the game, Blair Lamb recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alejandro Gavilanes. Blair Lamb showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Porteño Prowess FC's Amedeo Di Lorenzo was substituted for Hieronim Jarosz. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
