Joonatan Schols made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humphrey Virgin in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Timmy Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Chagas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crusaders's goalkeeper Wilson Chagas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Internacional Pechofrío's Ye Peng quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Porter Rishton, made in the 16th minute of the game. Timmy Siggman might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Chagas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timmy Siggman ran back to his position shaking his head. The Internacional Pechofrío fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmy Siggman in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Chagas saved Crusaders from getting behind. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Timmy Siggman sped through Crusaders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Chagas. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crusaders's goalkeeper Wilson Chagas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute Internacional Pechofrío were awarded a corner. Paul Moreno went to the cornerflag to take it. The Crusaders players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Internacional Pechofrío were winning 0-4.

Wilson Chagas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timmy Siggman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 51 minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Paul Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internacional Pechofrío's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crusaders the free kick. Paul Moreno hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Wilson Chagas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Siggman in the 58th minute of play. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Porter Rishton with Ingvar Bratt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 61 minutes into the game, Timmy Siggman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Wilson Chagas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timmy Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Siggman took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Chagas. Wilson Chagas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Internacional Pechofrío made a substitution. Lando Cueva replaced Paul Moreno. 72 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's Segio Galantia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Chagas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segio Galantia in the 73rd minute of play forced Crusaders's goalkeeper Wilson Chagas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Segio Galantia notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Crusaders's Wilson Chagas. Wilson Chagas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Segio Galantia came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Internacional Pechofrío fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segio Galantia couldn't finish the play. Wilson Chagas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segio Galantia's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Internacional Pechofrío's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
