In the 6th minute of the match Cesare Del Duca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Graf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Dito Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Max Graf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Massaro in the 9th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Ben Stiller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Massaro in the 15th minute of play forced C.A. RIBEIRÃO's goalkeeper Max Graf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Seggiano's Daniele Massaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Graf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabrizio Mazzocco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Eugenio Colecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Del Duca hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Max Graf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Klawki, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Arce came free, but Eugenio Colecchia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Daniele Massaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Graf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 35th minute Oséas Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Massaro in the 38th minute of play forced C.A. RIBEIRÃO's goalkeeper Max Graf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C.A. RIBEIRÃO booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Leoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessio Nola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniele Massaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Colecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aberama Gold in the 52nd minute of play. If Dito Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Daniele Massaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Graf was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After 75 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Falone. In the 78th minute C.A. RIBEIRÃO were awarded a corner. Rothem Čulen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Rothem Čulen to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Colecchia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dito Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Godo Møltoft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Graf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Massaro got free with Max Graf in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Seggiano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
