Ingvar Vallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolis Prinianakis having to interfere. Marijus Abakas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Tolis Prinianakis made a huge save. Bogdan Podwojski kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Ingvar Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Vallin in the 21st minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hub Yap Para kap's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joaquin Ledesma in the 22nd minute. The corner led Hub Yap Para kap's Ingvar Vallin to fire away a dangerous shot which Tolis Prinianakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Vallin in the 24th minute of play. Ingvar Vallin came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tolis Prinianakis could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Hub Yap Para kap's Joaquin Ledesma got a free kick in the 36th minute. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calisto Flayre in the 37th minute of play. Marcial Saez hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Ingvar Vallin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tolis Prinianakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tolis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Hub Yap Para kap's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calisto Flayre in the 44th minute of play. Joaquin Ledesma kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, GREEN LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Kouzoulakis to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingvar Vallin to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GREEN LIONS getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Marcial Saez hit a great ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Ingvar Vallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hub Yap Para kap's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Vallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tolis Prinianakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Vallin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Tolis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Hub Yap Para kap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Barros to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Vallin came free, but Tolis Prinianakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Hub Yap Para kap's Joaquin Ledesma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tolis Prinianakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. GREEN LIONS made a substitution. Pavlos Topoudis replaced Merexildo Raimundo. GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Vallin in the 82nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Hub Yap Para kap:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GREEN LIONS:s goal. Jorge Peredo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 86th minute Jorge Peredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Peredo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Peter Schmeichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GREEN LIONS. In the 96th minute, one of Hub Yap Para kap:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hub Yap Para kap. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, GREEN LIONS's Jorge Peredo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Peter Schmeichel. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
