Brak Gola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Beard, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Underdogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patryk Kociniewski in the 54th minute. It was a well-played corner which Kacper Mentus managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 58th minute, Underdogs's Stiff Meister seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stiff Meister the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Underdogs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stiff Meister had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis was substituted for Ruud van Nistelrooij. In a very dangerous position, a player in Underdogs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Brooklyn SC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gerardo Beard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Underdogs's Brak Gola. 1-1. Trenton Long's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jospeh McNally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brak Gola was a little too slow when Dwight Schrute got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-2. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Gerardo Beard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brooklyn SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Underdogs's Brak Gola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Beard in the 97th minute of play. The Underdogs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brooklyn SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Brooklyn SC.
