After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Bernard Edwards got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If John Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan da Cunha in the 6th minute of play. Nitra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oliver Veentjer in the 8th minute. After taking down the ball on Nitra FC's corner Williams Ferrari fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roland Lindström quite easily take care of the ball. Juoksengi's Jan-Olof Vacker managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Oliver Veentjer in the 17 minute of the game. Roland Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Wiberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerônimo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute Karl-Erik Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Edwards made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Juoksengi's Jan-Olof Vacker. In the 39th minute John Wiberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes in the game, Karl-Erik Magnusson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Wiberg came free, but Jerônimo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Juoksengi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Wiberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan da Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Pinho in the 50th minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Roland Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Wiberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Jerônimo Maranhense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th match minute, Juoksengi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Utter to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Nitra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Edwards didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Wiberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Nitra FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bernard Edwards hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Juoksengi's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan da Cunha came free, but Roland Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Edwards. Jerônimo Maranhense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Wiberg's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Juoksengi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Oliver Veentjer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Juoksengi's Roland Lindström didn't even have to move. 89 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Magnusson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juoksengi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nitra FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Juoksengi's Karl-Erik Magnusson got a free kick in the 89th minute. During the 95th minute of the match Karl-Erik Magnusson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karl-Erik Magnusson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 96th minute, Karl-Erik Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nitra FC fully deserved thier win.
