The corner led Thunderstorm Riders's Martin Tudoran to fire away a dangerous shot which Michel Neuer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Resel in the 25th minute of play forced TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Michel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Konrad Resel sped through TaTeRo Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michel Neuer. Michel Neuer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee showed Martin Tudoran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thunderstorm Riders's Daniel Houseman was substituted for Kudret Tüzer. After 71 played minutes TaTeRo Boys got a freekick which was hit by Endrik Halland. The audience was convinced that Daniel Houseman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Neuer was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
