Marin Romoşan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Marquez having to interfere. After some careless play in the Merusca F&P defense, Lázaro Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio Marquez. The Merusca F&P fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio Marquez should have stopped the shot. Geovânio Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Prestes in the 15th minute of the match. Iwan Dziuma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorian do Vale in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes of play, Heide FC's Lázaro Prestes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio Marquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lázaro Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Marquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Geovânio Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heide FC's attack was well implemented in the 35th minute, but when Lázaro Prestes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Merusca F&P's Geovânio Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Prestes in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Pitta was the one to do the kick off. Geovânio Marquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Prestes went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Lázaro Prestes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geovânio Marquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Lázaro Prestes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Lázaro Prestes took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Geovânio Marquez to make any attempt to save it. Heide FC's Juvenal Azevedo was substituted for Leszek Sakowicz. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Geovânio Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Raimundo Amorim got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to Merusca F&P getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Humberto Pitta hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Geovânio Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Iwan Dziuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo França in the 78th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Merusca F&P fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Heide FC's Witold Hodyl got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Geovânio Marquez. In the 89th minute, Fernando Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Heide FC's Krzysztof Wiater got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Geovânio Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Wiater. Geovânio Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Wiater in the 97th minute. Heide FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
