Horacio Zarricueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Bolt in the 23rd minute of the match. Horacio Zarricueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 26th minute of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Sebastian Milla from a close distance when the talented Mauro-Facundo Buffon managed to make a qualified save. Merusca F&P's players were relieved. In the 30th minute, Roberto Bolt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Zarricueta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Florian Capasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Zarricueta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Capasso ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Shymkent Camels's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Bolt came free, but Horacio Zarricueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Merusca F&P got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Vidal. Walmyr Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Zarricueta having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With 57 minutes on the clock, Fabian Meleșcanu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Merusca F&P's Hélder Fonseca was substituted for Florian Capasso. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Merusca F&P! Mauro-Facundo Buffon had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Boris Lindqvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Roberto Bolt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shymkent Camels's Horacio Zarricueta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Cheng Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Roberto Bolt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Merusca F&P's Geovani Mangueira was substituted for Anderson Vidal. In the 88th minute, Merusca F&P's Hélder Fonseca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Horacio Zarricueta made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Hélder Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Shymkent Camels's Horacio Zarricueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Fonseca in the 93rd minute of play. Roberto Bolt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 98th playminute.
