In the 21st minute Justino Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Imran Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Victorio Buinton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Imran Johnsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Gianluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Beti in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Sergey Nikiforenko got a free kick in the 28th minute. Justino Kaxen might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Imran Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Kaxen ran back to his position shaking his head. Imran Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Nikiforenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Imran Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Kaxen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Gianluigi Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Tiki Tiki from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Dante Casado took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gianluigi Buffon to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Pello to make the kick off. Pegaso FC's Imran Johnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pegaso FC from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute Andres Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Laurentzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Imran Johnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Juan Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegaso FC and the Defensores del Tiki Tiki players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pegaso FC's Juan Matos got a free kick in the 68th minute. Imran Johnsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Victorio Buinton. When Andres Pello came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Pegaso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Pello couldn't finish the play. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Matos in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes Defensores del Tiki Tiki's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Orlando Beti who took care of the corner kick. Andres Pello was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Imran Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Kaxen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imran Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Dante Casado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluigi Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
