AFC Eskilstuna's Lars Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Matai in the 21st minute of play. Lars Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Galeno in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match, Elliot Termander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexandros Ismael was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dan Njurenius struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Alexandros Ismael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Eskilstuna. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Eskilstuna's zone, Jacinto Galeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Blom came out of the goal and Jacinto Galeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Galeno in the 33rd minute of play forced AFC Eskilstuna's goalkeeper Lars Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigvard Mellbad kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jacinto Galeno hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jacinto Galeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Jacinto Galeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Eskilstuna's Lars Blom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
