Vicente Sasoin took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Xabier. Sebastian Xabier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 17 minutes SOUTH THUNDER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celestino Rudolfo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético Nacional's corner Celestino Rudolfo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastian Xabier quite easily take care of the ball. Celestino Rudolfo's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Sebastian Xabier on his right side and into the goal. 18 minutes into the game it was 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Procopio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baltasar Guillerme. That made the score 2-2 in the 24 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Berriotxoa in the 29th minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Sebastian Xabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Damario's late challenge caught a SOUTH THUNDER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Damario helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the game, one of Atlético Nacional:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sebastian Xabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Theodore in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Atlético Nacional were awarded a corner. Celestino Rudolfo went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Vicente Sasoin to score against Sebastian Xabier in SOUTH THUNDER's goal. 3-3 after 39 minutes. 47 minutes into the match, Santiago Bautista notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Atlético Nacional's Baltasar Guillerme. Baltasar Guillerme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-3 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Sasoin to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 56 in the game by Vicente Sasoin from a close distance when the talented Sebastian Xabier managed to make a qualified save. SOUTH THUNDER's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Procopio in the 57th minute of play forced Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Baltasar Guillerme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Bonifacio Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Atlético Nacional booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Procopio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Vicente Sasoin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Xabier was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. 69 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Berriotxoa came free, but Sebastian Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Sasoin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Xabier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Augusto Procopio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Wilfredo Berriotxoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celestino Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Bonifacio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Vicente Sasoins short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Sebastian Xabier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
