The Sportivo Desamparados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gianluca Augusto should have stopped the shot. Sportivo Desamparados's Federico Sugoi was substituted for Thiago Caniggia. Gianluca Augusto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mala Kicia went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When the match was over SazobaSpor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sportivo Desamparados throughout the match.
