Johan Sjöberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Xabier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Santiago Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Johan Sjöberg in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Sjöberg got free with Sebastian Xabier in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingvar Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Errapel in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Incendio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Åke Nilsson in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Xabier saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Sjöberg got free with Sebastian Xabier in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The corner was taken by Evert Johansson in the 98th minute. It was a well-played corner which Sven-Erik Åhlberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The Charlatans were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
