But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan Pavlovský couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Sportivo Desamparados's Gianluca Augusto got control of the ball when Alexis Sánchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Stockholm Generals's Alexis Sánchez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Stockholm Generals's Kurt Holmberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gianluca Augusto. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 17th minute, Sören Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Sportivo Desamparados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Rito to maneuver through the defense. Stockholm Generals's Kurt Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stockholm Generals's Sebastian Forsell was substituted for Kurt Holmberg. After 25 played minutes Sportivo Desamparados got a freekick which was hit by Elias Bernebe. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Desamparados's Luca Balbo got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 38th match minute, Sportivo Desamparados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Haitz to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Stockholm Generals's Alexis Sánchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gianluca Augusto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 44th minute, Sebastian Forsell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluca Augusto was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The throw-in from Silvano Ugutz in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Stockholm Generals's Henry Klemensson. Sebastian Forsell took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gianluca Augusto. Gianluca Augusto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Sportivo Desamparados's Gianluca Augusto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milan Pavlovský in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Sportivo Desamparados getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luca Toranzo hit a great ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Alexis Sánchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Desamparados's Gianluca Augusto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Milan Pavlovský ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluca Augusto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 67th match minute, Sportivo Desamparados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Rito to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Forsell in the 69th minute of play forced Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Gianluca Augusto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluca Augusto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Forsell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Alexis Sánchez made a precise shot to the right of Gianluca Augusto. Sportivo Desamparados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Forsell in the 80th minute of play forced Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Gianluca Augusto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stockholm Generals had played much better football throughout.
