Joel Federigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Martyon Diehl made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's Andres Stevens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Rosio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 15th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Galindo in the 37th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Carlisle Fenwick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Rosio. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlisle Fenwick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 41 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carlisle Fenwick came free, but Paulo Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Paco Everett. In the 66th match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Canor to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Drake Sobczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Hernandez came free, but Martyon Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlisle Fenwick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Paulo Rosio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Rosio. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. Boroondara Milan's Martyon Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Dantae in the 84th minute of play. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrado Mouricio in the 86th minute. The corner led Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Conrado Mouricio to fire away a dangerous shot which Martyon Diehl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Atletas Campesinos F.C. from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Dantae came free, but Martyon Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Rosio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rusty Reynolds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Carlisle Fenwick took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Paulo Rosio to make any attempt to save it.
