UE Cornella were furious when Justo Viator was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 11th match minute, UE Cornella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Viator to maneuver through the defense. If Tytus Loncki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abel Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Casco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, UE Cornella's Arturo Rodríguez got a free kick in the 17th minute. Abel Reyes came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by UE Cornella's Arturo Rodríguez. But to his dismay, Arturo Rodríguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute, Arnoldo Iratxo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nofre Amorebieta. The goal made the score 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.P.J.'s Serafin Criston slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nofre Amorebieta. That made the score 4-2 after 38 minutes of play. UE Cornella's Nofre Amorebieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Iratxo in the 42nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Arnoldo Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nofre Amorebieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nofre Amorebieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Randák in the 65th minute of play. Segundo Casco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Cresenciano kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Geronimo Jofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Criston in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nofre Amorebieta saved UE Cornella from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A.P.J. fans cheered their team off the field, for while UE Cornella had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
