In the 4th minute Niclas Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Pernambucano was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Niclas Jakobsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niclas Jakobsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's Eugênio de Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Austen Willis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Övertorneå RK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdir Loureiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Breguete FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Breguete FC's Valdir Loureiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Austen Willis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Artur Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Övertorneå RK's Niclas Jakobsson. But to his dismay, Niclas Jakobsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Jakobsson in the 17th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Artur Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Breguete FC's Eugênio de Carvalho in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Övertorneå RK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Paulista in the 27th minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Austen Willis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breguete FC's Artur Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Jakobsson in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Jakobsson came free, but Artur Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Breguete FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vilhelm Trulsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Övertorneå RK's players had a chance to rest. Joaquim Seco's late challenge caught a Övertorneå RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Seco helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Seco. The crowd rose to their feet as Övertorneå RK's Niclas Jakobsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artur Pernambucano. That made the score 3-1 after 35 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harry Almqvist got free with Artur Pernambucano in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iustin Iorgu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Valdir Loureiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Övertorneå RK's Austen Willis didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Harry Almqvist made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Övertorneå RK booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rdth minute of the game Eugênio de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Övertorneå RK's Austen Willis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Eugênio de Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Austen Willis was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Niclas Jakobsson scored 4-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Pernambucano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugênio de Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Austen Willis made a huge save. In the 67thth minute of the game Niclas Jakobsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breguete FC's Artur Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Niclas Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugênio de Carvalho in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Austen Willis saved Övertorneå RK from getting behind. In the 71st match minute, Övertorneå RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Erroman to maneuver through the defense. Austen Willis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugênio de Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Artur Pernambucano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niclas Jakobsson went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Övertorneå RK's Allan Pettersson was substituted for Niclas Jakobsson. In the 88th minute of the game Nando Custódio made a throw-in which Antônio Paulista played forward. Övertorneå RK's Austen Willis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Breguete FC's goalkeeper Artur Pernambucano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Austen Willis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 94th minute of the match. Allan Pettersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Pernambucano having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Övertorneå RK had played much better football throughout.
