Despite this Bianco Altobelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Frederik Dams came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Lupi Grigi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederik Dams couldn't finish the play. Bianco Altobelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederik Dams in the 12th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lupi Grigi's Bianco Altobelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Recife in the 13th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Samurai Champions FC's Bianco Altobelli threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cido Recife, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Lupi Grigi's Frederik Dams nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio de Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Samurai Champions FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Lupi Grigi for much of the match.
