In the 30thth minute of the game Cido Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Eterno Campeón's Ruslan Reichl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ildefonso Arixo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Arixo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruslan Reichl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Recife in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cido Recife made a kick off. Ildefonso Arixo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match.
