Roberto Puch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Kiliz Mauleon made a huge save. In the 7th minute of the match Lanús got a corner. Moscovi Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jake Hursey ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kiliz Mauleon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jake Hursey in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Lanús's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Gol came free, but Manuel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Gol in the 12th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Edu Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moscovi Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Moscovi Ψ's Marco Oinatz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Ariel Silban with Marco Oinatz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Manuel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Kiliz Mauleon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Puch in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Moscovi Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Silban to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Esteve Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Gol in the 46th minute of the match.

Moscovi Ψ's Edgard Eudoxio was substituted for Edu Gol. The wind increased when Eloy Gaskon made the kick off in the second half. Eloy Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgard Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Manuel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Moscovi Ψ's Edgard Eudoxio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Neuer. Manuel Neuer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 70th match minute, Moscovi Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Manuel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moscovi Ψ's Patricio Bamford was substituted for Marco Oinatz. Moscovi Ψ were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Lanús's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabrizio Angileri took the corner. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Lanús:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moscovi Ψ:s goal. After 94 played minutes Moscovi Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Karahan Cansoy. Manuel Neuer came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Moscovi Ψ's Patricio Bamford. But to his dismay, Patricio Bamford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Moscovi Ψ played a much better game than Lanús and deserved their victory. The Lanús players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
