The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Patricio Rey Futbol Club. 14 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Virgilio Pacifico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Björkman. After a defensive mix-up in Patricio Rey Futbol Club's zone, Peter Björkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Pacifico came out of the goal and Peter Björkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Stark in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toto Škarpa in the 24th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper André Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Pacifico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Björkman went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Alex Isaksson could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Virgilio Pacifico however easily saved by the left post. Virgilio Pacifico made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Peter Björkman sent off a good shot on target. Nick Stark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Nordmark having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Björkman to strike the kick off in the second half. Virgilio Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Björkman came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
