An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Melker Jokiranta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Löv in the 7th minute of play forced FC Shifen III's goalkeeper Georg Godholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark got control of the ball when Mister Bean tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Fantini came free, but André Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Björkman in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Godholm saved FC Shifen III from getting behind. Kevin Fagrell made a great header on FC Blueskatterna's corner, it was just that FC Shifen III's Georg Godholm managed to reach the ball for a save. Kristoffer Jelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Nordmark having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, FC Shifen III's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Björkman came free, but Georg Godholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Nils Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Godholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Godholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Fagrell in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, FC Shifen III's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Holmgren came free, but Georg Godholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Blueskatterna's Peter Björkman in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Johannes Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Björkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Henrik Löv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Blueskatterna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Shifen III the free kick. After 60 minutes, João Augusto Fantini made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristoffer Jelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. André Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes FC Shifen III got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Svensson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Augusto Fantini during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
