Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Marin in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Gabrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Serafo came free, but Ramiro Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Lluterio in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Silverio Lluterio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celedonio Eguen. The goal made the score 2-0. Minas Makris scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Gabrio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silverio Lluterio was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Silverio Lluterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Eguen was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rdth minute of the game Silverio Lluterio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes Matheu City FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Egoitz. After a defensive mix-up in Matheu City FC's zone, Valtteri Snellman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Eguen came out of the goal and Valtteri Snellman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silverio Lluterio scored 3-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Eguen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Servando in the 96th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The La Candela FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
