After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Oscar Bergum got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen got control of the ball when Torstein Solli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torstein Solli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Celedonio Eguen made a huge save. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Matheu City FC from getting a goal against them. Celedonio Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Óbolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Ruperto Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matheu City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Serafo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Marin struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Gjermund Aabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matheu City FC. Celedonio Eguen made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Torstein Solli sent off a good shot on target. Gjermund Aabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Minas Makris in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when Sagene IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Bergum didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Hans-Kristian Aanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Celedonio Eguen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eulalio Santio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sagene IF's Gjermund Aabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Makris in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Sagene IF's Gjermund Aabel got control of the ball when Vicente Marin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Vicente Marin came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Matheu City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Marin couldn't finish the play. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 62nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Kristian Aanes came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Óbolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Minas Makriss short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Gjermund Aabel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Sagene IF defense, Robinho Salgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gjermund Aabel. The Sagene IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gjermund Aabel should have stopped the shot. Sagene IF's Kjell Ekeli was substituted for Torstein Solli. The Matheu City FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sagene IF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
