When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Zahari Chalyovski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Håkan Deckbergh to make any attempt to save it. Håkan Deckbergh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Strahil Vitkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Blagoy Sarakinov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Deckbergh. IFK Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blagoy Sarakinov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 16th match minute, CSKA Dobravi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yane Tashev to maneuver through the defense. Matthias Ahlstedt hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes, Zahari Chalyovski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSKA Dobravi and the IFK Göteborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Strahil Vitkov hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Zahari Chalyovski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. A collision led to CSKA Dobravi getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zahari Chalyovski hit a great ball. Bozhko Stanachkov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tang Xi Qing's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Yanaki Vúlchov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Dobravi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Göteborg the free kick. In the 30th match minute, CSKA Dobravi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanaki Vúlchov to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Deckbergh made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Yanaki Vúlchov sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tang Xi Qing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSKA Dobravi's Bozhko Stanachkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 played minutes CSKA Dobravi got a freekick which was hit by Desislav Bakúrdzhiev. After 36 played minutes, IFK Göteborg's Manfred Valström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bozhko Stanachkov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK Göteborg reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as CSKA Dobravi's Yane Tashev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Håkan Deckbergh. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. In the 42nd minute, Axel Pååk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strahil Vitkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petko Pavlevchev's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Håkan Deckbergh firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Bosse Laden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Petko Pavlevchev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Håkan Deckbergh skillfully saved the ball. Håkan Deckbergh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blagoy Sarakinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a little luck, CSKA Dobravi's Bozhko Stanachkov got control of the ball when Tang Xi Qing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Håkan Deckbergh came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by CSKA Dobravi's Blagoy Sarakinov. But to his dismay, Blagoy Sarakinov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 66 minutes of play, CSKA Dobravi's Yane Tashev made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Deckbergh was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanaki Vúlchov in the 69th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Håkan Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Manfred Valström got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 73 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Filcho Krotev came free, but Håkan Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Vitaliy Krylatov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Axel Pååk hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Strahil Vitkov came free, but Håkan Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Deckbergh came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by CSKA Dobravi's Desislav Bakúrdzhiev. But to his dismay, Desislav Bakúrdzhiev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 91 minutes into the game, CSKA Dobravi's Yanaki Vúlchov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Deckbergh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 94 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy Krylatov. There was no doubt that CSKA Dobravi were the better team. CSKA Dobravi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
