Jack Grealish could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Iwan Fafinski made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Arman Skräddare took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Iwan Fafinski to make any attempt to save it. 13 minutes into the match, De Gröna FK's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Lano came free, but Marcu Alecu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Växjö fc's Iwan Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Eanes in the 14th minute of play. Arman Skräddares short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Iwan Fafinski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 19 played minutes Växjö fc got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Nordlander. Bartosz Pietrasz shot from long distance in the 21st minute, but Iwan Fafinski was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 27th minute, Paulo Eanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes Växjö fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bartosz Pietrasz who took care of the corner kick. In the 33rd match minute, De Gröna FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Grealish to maneuver through the defense. Arman Skräddares short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Iwan Fafinski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Växjö fc's zone, Paulo Eanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Fafinski came out of the goal and Paulo Eanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, De Gröna FK's Robin Asplund got a free kick in the 41st minute. Arman Skräddare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Växjö fc's Iwan Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Grealish in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arman Skräddare to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eanes in the 50th minute of play forced Växjö fc's goalkeeper Iwan Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. De Gröna FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bartosz Pietrasz in the 52nd minute. In the 60th match minute, Växjö fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Knutsson to maneuver through the defense. When De Gröna FK's Arman Skräddare in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. De Gröna FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Eanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Fafinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arman Skräddare in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Fafinski saved Växjö fc from getting behind. Paulo Eanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Iwan Fafinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When De Gröna FK's Arman Skräddare in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Växjö fc's goalie prevented a goal. Marcu Alecu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Knutsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Växjö fc booed when De Gröna FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Vezin didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. De Gröna FK fully deserved thier win.
