The Villa Mitre City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Ponc should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Valdemar Kuoppala made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Ponc. Villa Mitre City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Ariel Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taisto Pentsinen in the 86th minute of the match. Ariel Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Beckham in the 91st minute of play. But to his dismay, Davide Beckham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manchester United FC had won after a very even match.
