Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Buccella in the 6th minute of play. Ferdinando Buccella struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Natalio Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Mitre City. A nice corner shot did that Urbano Mendiko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Natalio Heli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Ismael Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Baumer in the 14th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Ponc made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ismael Baumer sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Celedonio Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villa Mitre City's Carlos Oxarra was substituted for Flavio Lauro. After 21 played minutes Tierra del Fuego FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Espiridion. Natalio Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Fernendo in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Fernendo in the 25th minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Natalio Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Baumer got free with Ariel Ponc in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Villa Mitre City booed when Tierra del Fuego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Ferdinando Buccella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Villa Mitre City's Honorato Demesio was substituted for Feliciano Fernendo. Benigno Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Natalio Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Baumer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes Tierra del Fuego FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Honorato Demesio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Villa Mitre City's Honorato Demesio to fire away a dangerous shot which Natalio Heli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Espiridion in the 79th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celedonio Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Ferdinando Buccella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villa Mitre City were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Tierra del Fuego FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honorato Demesio took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Kenny Sparkes advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 88th minute. The supporters of Villa Mitre City booed when Tierra del Fuego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Long Yuan Di, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Villa Mitre City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tierra del Fuego FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
