In the 8th minute Facundo Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Galsino scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Errando made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when David Accam sent off a good shot on target. KIRICOCHO FC's Jorge Errando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik Westerstrand in the 20th minute of play. Bo-Erik Westerstrand hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Facundo Torres made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Robin Alin sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Jorge Errando showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Skånes stolthet!'s Henry Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Torres in the 58th minute of play. Bo-Erik Westerstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Errando having to interfere. The KIRICOCHO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KIRICOCHO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
